Register your exchange first
The install guide is written for your site specifically — every link in it carries your own address, so there is nothing to edit and nothing to retype. It needs to know which site that is.
What is involved, in short
- Register your exchange here. It takes a minute and costs nothing.
- Upload one file to it, or on LFMTE click two links and skip the upload.
- Open one page in your browser. Done.
Nothing of yours is edited. The whole footprint is one folder, two database rows and one file in surf_modules/, and removing it takes all three back out. You do not need SSH, a developer, or any knowledge of PHP.
